| An Islamic exhibition will held as part of UMMA’s Open Day on the Sunday 22nd June 2008. You can contribute to this educational event by providing any Islamic artifacts that reflect Islamic history. It could be a rare book, a picture or poster or any other item. Your contribution will be highly appreciated
As part of UMMA’s Open Day to be held on the Sunday 22nd June 2008 an art competition has been organised for children under 15 years of age. First, second and third prizes will be given to the winners. This can be a hand drawn picture of one of the holy mosques (Masjid Harram (Kaaba)), Masjid-e-Nabawi, Masjid-e-Al-Qudus) or a calligraphy of a verse of the Holy Quran. The following are the basic rules for the participants
Art must be hand drawn/painted.
Cardboard or Canvas or any other suitable material not more than 4ft (120 Cm) X 4 ft (120 CM) can be used.
Parents/Guardian can assist their children but work to be produced by children only.
The items produced for competition will be used as part of the exhibition.
Art to be submitted no later than 20th of June 2008.
UMMA will take the ownership of the art.
Artists’ name, age, grade and a brief description of the art must be provided with the art itself.
