Branding Initiative

As-salamu alaykum dear community,

Since the establishment of UMMA in 1984. the community, facilities and associated service has rapidly grown. In the era of digital community and service delivery, the UMMA Council has recognised the opportunity to provide digital services and improve upon communication.

To enable our digital journey, a significant branding initiative has been undertaken by our team.

We are pleased to announce our new branding and logo.

A lot of work has gone on in the background and we are very pleased with the final product. We hope everyone will embrace this new initiative and that the branding reflects the diverse and expanding community around UMMA.


Rationale of the logo

  • The Dome: Inspired by the Nabawi dome (saw) as the guide
  • The Arches: Pillars and doors of the mosque. Pillars = Community/ strength. Doors = Opening / Opportunities
  • The Dot: Subtle Arabic dot “Diamond Shape”


The branding will cover all aspects, from letterheads, posters to banners. We are also working on a brand-new modern website which will be easy to follow and regularly updated. The roll out over all platforms will be gradual but we hope you can take this journey with us into a new future and share in the excitement with us.
