Ustadah Dr. Amrooha Hussain has worked as a GP in Melbourne for over 20 years. She has also spent over a decade committed to her own Islamic education. She has been a teacher of the Qur’anic Science of Tajweed at the Fajr Institute – Tarteel Branch, since 2012. She obtained her Ijazah in the recitation of Hafs an Asim in the way of Shatibiyyah in 2019. This talk will be about her journey with the Qur’an and the challenges she faced along the way, growing up as an Australian muslim.
