We are thrilled to host a Mosque Open Day on Sunday the 25th of February and we specially invite our non-Muslim neighbors, colleagues, and friends to join us!

• 11:00 – 11:15 AM: Welcome/Arrival
• 11:20 – 11:30 AM: A Brief Overview of UMMA Centre’s History
• 11:30 – 12:00 PM: Understanding the Religious Significance of Palestine + Q&A
• 12:30 – 1:15 PM: Introduction to Islam (Exploring the 6 pillars of faith and 5 pillars of practice) + Q&A
• 1:30 – 2:00 PM: Guided Tour of the Mosque and Observation of midday prayer service

Special Features:

• Palestine Information Booth: Dive into the history and significance of Palestine.
• Cultural Experiences: Try on a hijab, enjoy henna art, and engage with fun activities at our kids corner.
• Refreshments: Sausage sizzle, tea, coffee, sweets and dates!

📚 Free copies of the Quran (an easy-to-read interpretation) will be available for those interested in learning more about Islam.
