UMMA is a non for-profit organisation and we rely heavily on our volunteers to deliver services for our community. Our strength comes from individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills who can contribute to enrich the organisation. We sincerely request your support and participation. Please fill the form below and submit it to volunteer in the UMMA Committees. Please note the following general guidelines for volunteering at UMMA.


You don’t need to be a registered member of UMMA. However, you must be registered volunteer for ongoing assistance to the organisation.


The working committee and members shall serve within the guidelines of the UMMA Constitution and work within the Terms of Reference for the committee under the guidance of our Board within framing of our Constitution.

Content Creation & Creativity This energetic group is for talented content creators who can inspire and service deen with their creative talent. Opportunities are available for the development of content, poster development, video or reel creation, content write up, supporting material creation for services and administration of the creation process.
Social Media & Marketing Focused on promoting activities and services through digital platforms, this team manages outreach, campaigns, and online engagement to connect with the wider community.
Eid Salah Dedicated to organising and coordinating Eid prayers, ensuring smooth logistics, parking, services and a welcoming environment for all attendees.
Elders Khidma Provides support, care, and programs tailored to the needs of senior community members, fostering respect, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Elders Social Elders social group which meets weekly and on monthly bases to socialise and share food at the centre.
Event & Dawa Support Assists in planning and delivering events, lectures, and outreach programs that spread knowledge, strengthen faith, and invite others to Islam
Family & Youth Counselling Offers guidance and counselling services to families and young people, addressing challenges and promoting healthy relationships and spiritual growth. Members need to demonstrate experience through their expression of interest and admin will request your relevant experience.
Fundraising Responsible for generating financial support through campaigns, donations, and events to sustain mosque services and community initiatives.
Information Technology Manages technical systems, digital tools, and IT infrastructure to support administration, communication, and service delivery.
Janaza Provides compassionate support for funeral arrangements, guiding families through Islamic rites and ensuring dignified services
Juma Salah Coordinates Friday prayers, including logistics, khateeb scheduling, and maintaining a respectful and organized environment.
Khidma Focused on service and volunteer work, this group supports community needs through acts of care, assistance, and hospitality.
Mosque Maintenance Ensures the mosque remains clean, safe, and well-maintained, overseeing repairs, upkeep, and facility management.
Teaching & Tutoring Provides educational support through classes, tutoring, and Islamic studies, nurturing knowledge and personal development. Your support will depend on the need and your availability. Register your expression of interest and we will contact you to determine arrangements.
Youth Brothers Engages young brothers (12+) with programs, mentorship, and activities that strengthen faith, character, and community bonds.
Youth Sisters Creates a supportive space for young sisters through learning, mentorship, and social activities that encourage growth and connection.
Welcoming Greets and assists newcomers and visitors, ensuring they feel included, informed, and part of the community
